ABOUT BHUTAN

Bhutan is a small Himalayan country sandwiched between India & China. With the leadership of our enlightened monarchs and Gross National Happiness as our development philosophy, Bhutan has successfully preserved its ancient culture & traditions, and have maintained its breath-taking pristine environment.

With an elevation of 200 meters (660 ft) in the southern foothills to upwards of 7000 meters (24,840 ft) in the northern peaks, Bhutan boasts the highest number of biodiversity ​in its exotic flora and fauna. The population of about  700,000 approximately are mostly Buddhists and live in agrarian communities.
